Post your thougts and ideas

From Deb's Quilt Shop News e-letter...."One of the biggest quilt revivals of all time was noted during the Great Depression of the 1930s. People sought creative way to “make something of nothing” and in the middle of much uncertainty and scarceness quilts were stitched with bright and beautiful fabrics, warming the bodies and calming the souls."

The desire to create with fabric is something buried deep inside - like a fire that will not be quenched." Quilting will keep us strong....let that be our motto.

We are in the midst of another period of economic uncertainty. If it is economic stimulus our country needs....let's get it started in the world of quilts.

Please use this site to share ideas and thoughts on how to hold onto or re-build business success. Methods that have worked for you and others that did not....please do not hold back. We are all in this together and we can turn our business around.

You have heard about this site through an email from World of Quilts Travel....where I share the cultures of the quilting world with all who will travel with me. It took 16 years of loving quilts and travel to think to put my two passions together. But on my road to this endeavor as an appraiser, teacher, judge, historian and author I have met a lot of quilters along the way, they all mean a lot - and so do those who provide all of us with the things we need to fulfill our creative spirits, you the quilt shop owner.
